Study Abroad in Wellington : Housing & Meals

For the first ten days of the program, stay in a double occupancy homestay with a local family in the center of Suva. Singles are available at no extra cost. The family will provide transportation to and from the campus, which is located just outside the city center. They will also provide breakfast and dinner every day. You must purchase your own lunch at the University cafeteria.

In Wellington you will reside in a self-catered residence hall. Staying in a residence hall offers the opportunity to live in a supportive, friendly environment alongside other students from New Zealand and around the world. Residence halls typically share the kitchen, living area and bathroom with 2 to 4 other students. Meals are not included because most AIFS students prefer to purchase or cook their own meals. You will receive an allowance to subsidise breakfast and lunch or dinner Monday through Friday.
