Study Abroad in Berlin: Overview
Program at a glance
- 4-week summer study abroad in Berlin, Germany
- Open to high school graduates, college freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 required
- No previous German language study required, however students must take a German language course during the program
- Program fee includes tuition, housing, a meal allowance, excursions
and cultural activities, London visit, day visit to Hamburg, airfare if selected, and more
- Earn up to 7 semester credits
- Courses include German language classes at all levels plus courses in Business/Politics, German Culture, and Religion taught in English
- The local AIFS Resident Director and staff organize cultural activities and housing, act as a liaison between students and the university, and are available 24/7 in case of emergencies
- Visa not required for U.S. citizens for less than a 3-month stay
- Transcripts issued by Humboldt University
