Bonjour! I am a native of Cannes, and became the AIFS Resident Director here in 1999. I studied abroad for a year in England, a year in Spain and a third year in Scotland, encountering new adventures and challenges every day. It really changed me as a person and altered my perception of the world.
Along with traveling I enjoy discovering new cultures. I speak French, English, Spanish and conversational Italian. I have a Master's degree in tourism management and have worked in the tourism industry in Greece, Norway, Tunisia and Ireland.
Whether it's your first time abroad or your tenth time, every minute is sure to be a great experience. I look forward to helping you adjust to the new environment and sharing my culture with you. A très bientôt à Cannes!
AIFS Campus Staff with First Aid Training
Because health and safety are top priorities at AIFS, at least one member of the staff at this campus has taken a first aid course in order to be available to help any student until a doctor or nurse can provide help. This is just one of many services that we provide to our students.
Special features of the AIFS program:
The College International de Cannes is located on the French Riviera, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, between Italy and Spain. AIFS students study French and take courses in French or English on a small campus in a very cosmopolitan environment. During the International Film Festival in May, AIFS students receive a pass to the Festival with free entrance to screenings. The Festival also provides internships and volunteer work for some students, subject to availability. In both semesters AIFS offers many visits to museums and sites on the Riviera, as well as trips to London, Provence and Paris.
