Cannes Alumni Scholarship
Scholarships for AIFS Alumni to Return to Cannes for a Semester After Graduation
AIFS is pleased to present AIFS in Cannes semester and summer alumni with a unique opportunity to return to Cannes and work on campus for a semester after graduating from college.
Former AIFS Cannes students have first priority to apply for a scholarship given by the College de Cannes to former students. The scholarship award includes the following:
- Room and board on campus (three meals a day)
- Free French language course for 15 hours per week
- Free seminars
In exchange, students will work 20 hours per week as library assistants or in the College cafeteria. They must provide their own airfare, insurance, and pocket money; no salary is paid. They must also show proof that they have graduated from their home university and have completed Intermediate French (Niveau B1). Scholarship recipients must agree to speak French at all times to students at the College. They must be "model students," setting a good example to others.

In the letter, students should explain why they would like to return to the College and confirm their agreement to provide their own airfare, insurance, and pocket money. They must also confirm their agreement to speak French at all times to students.
