Summer Internships in London: Housing & Meals
Housing
Students are housed in double and triple rooms in University residence halls or approved satellite buildings. Single rooms are available on a limited basis for an additional fee of $625 per session. Single room fees must be paid to AIFS before departure from the U.S. The University operates a non-smoking policy in all its residences. Since housing is usually in buildings not originally designed to be dormitories, rooms and showers in the older buildings are smaller than what Americans may expect.
AIFS always arranges the best accommodation available for students. Changes in housing will be considered only in the event of health and safety issues.
Students will receive a meal allowance of £12 per day Monday through Friday to subsidize breakfast and dinner. This is a subsidy and will not cover the cost of meals in expensive restaurants.
