Study Abroad in Prague: Beyond the Classroom

Learning does not begin or end in the classroom. To help you get a true taste of Czech culture, a wide range of cultural activities and excursions are included in your program fee. The Resident Director organizes a variety of activities which usually include:

  • Welcome dinner
  • 5 different Prague city tours including the following sights: Old Town, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Prague Gardens, New Town, and Prague Legends Cafe Outings
  • Fountain and lights concert
  • Castle day trip
  • Visit to the Jewish Museum in Prague
  • Performances such as theater and concerts
  • Jazz boat cruise
  • Formal dinner
  • Czech lessons with AIFS staff members

Please note that students may need to pay a small additional fee for some of the activities above.
