Monday, August 30 Orientation and Oral Interview for placement
Tuesday, August 31 Semester begins for 16-week students. Intensive Spanish classes (80 hours total)
Sunday, September 26 Flight from U.S. to Costa Rica for students on 12-week program. Transfer to accommodation.
Monday, September 27 Orientation and Oral Interview for placement
Tuesday, September 28 Semester begins
Friday, October 1 to Sunday, October 3 3-day excursion to Tamarindo Beach, Guanacaste (subject to weather conditions)
Friday, October 8 to Sunday, October 10 3-day excursion to Arenal Volcano, Hot Springs and Monteverde Cloud Forest
Saturday, October 16 Day trip to Poas Volcano and La Paz Waterfall
Friday, October 22 to Sunday, October 24 Optional excursion to Nicaragua ($335)
Friday, November 19 to Sunday, November 21 Optional excursion to Panama ($315)
Monday, December 13 to Friday, December 17 Exams
Saturday, December 18 Return flight from Costa Rica to U.S. for all students
