Study Abroad in Salzburg: Cultural Excursions

London, England (3 days)

Included only for students on the optional AIFS Flight Package

Get to know your fellow students before traveling to campus and take a sightseeing tour with a professional guide who will point out some of London’s famous landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and the Tower of London. You will also have free time to visit museums, see a play or stroll in London’s beautiful parks.

Includes accommodations, breakfast, entrance fees and sightseeing as indicated. Lunch and dinner are not included.

Munich, Germany (day trip)

This popular destination for university students retains its Bavarian Gemütlichkeit.

Take a walking tour of the city center to see the most famous sights including the Glockenspiel in the Marienplatz and the old Rathaus. Enjoy free time to explore Munich on your own.

Includes transportation, sightseeing, local guide and entrances.

Vienna (3 days)

The traditional heart of the Habsburg Empire, Vienna is the dynamic capital of central Europe and center for international diplomacy, finance and culture.

Travel by train across Austria from Salzburg to Vienna. Afternoon walking tour to see major sights of historic Vienna. Enjoy free time in the evening to explore Vienna.

The next morning, take a guided tour of the Kunsthistorische (Art History) Museum, which contains one of the world’s finest art collections. Afternoon and evening free to explore more of the city (visit cafés, museums, theaters, musical events or other night life).

On the third day, visit Schönbrunn Castle, residence of Habsburg emperors before returning to Salzburg.
